Ellen Vermeulen (Belgium, 1982) is a filmmaker. She made the documentaries 9999 (2014), about detention in the Merksplas prison, Catch-19to25 (2016) about a refugee-boat and Inclusive (2018), about four children with special educational needs that take part in a regular learning program. Vermeulen is a researcher and lecturer at RITCS (Brussels) and founded the production company Chère Jeanne.
